Asamoah Gyan, Al Ain striker has revealed to  Kwesi Appiah the Black Stars head coach that he will be available after the 2014 double header against Lesotho and Zambia next month. Gyan temporarily left the Black Stars squad following intense criticisms regarding his penalty miss during the 2012 African Cup of Nations and was reluctant to return.

After several talks with Kwesi Appiah who advised him to think about it, Gyan has announced that he needs to mentally prepare himself but will be available for the 2013 African Cup of Nations qualifiers and other friendly matches.

I’m elated to hear that the Black Stars will be getting together and playing as a team again and I’m sure many are happy to hear this news.
