ASHOK LEYLAND SUPPLY GHANA WITH 100 FALCON BUSES

Ashok Leyland has supplied Ghana with 100 Falcon buses in an order worth 7.6 million dollars. The vehicles were inducted into the Metro Mass Transit Company in which Ghana’s government holds 45% stake.

Managing Director Vinod Dasari said in a statement that, ‘Africa has been one of our key focus markets and presents some very unique opportunities for a commercial vehicle manufacturer like us’

The 100 buses were customised into 57 seater and left hand drive buses to meet specific requirements.

Ashok Leyland also supplied 160 waste management trucks to Ghana last year.
