Derrick Twum, a London-based Ghanaian will be representing Ghana in Mister Africa International. The new international male pageant is scheduled to take place on the 29th of September 2012. The House of Twitch, producers of pageants such as Mr Ideal Nigeria and Mr Earth Ghana are set to change the status quo with the launch of this unique pageant.
“The idea of the pageant is to gather some of the most handsome and sporty young men of African origin with amazing entrepreneurial skills across the world. London was chosen to host the African pageant because London is the home of the Olympics and we want to enjoy the diversity that London brings”— Ayotunde Fabamwo (President of the Pageant).
One of the main features of the event will be the unveiling of some of Africa’s most creative minds. The winner of the pageant will raise funds for education and small scale businesses in Africa. The winner will also receive an endorsement deal, a year’s contract with one of London’s biggest modelling agencies and other fantastic rewards.
