On Tuesday, 3rd September 2013, the ACS Project will be staging the foremost and highly anticipated one-day conference that welcomes Presidents of the African Caribbean Societies (“ACS”) from universities across the United Kingdom. The theme of this year’s summit is titled: “Raising the Bar” and will host delegates from more than 50 universities.
Like previous summits, the ACS LS will feature prominent figures as guest speakers, high-level workshops and award presentations. The guest speakers for this year are: Ken Olisa, OBE (Corporate Director, Thomson Reuters); The Rt Hon Chi Onwurah MP and Justin Thomas-Copeland (Managing Director/Global Client Lead, Wunderman). The workshops, delivered by Google, PA Consulting Group, and Barclays, will cover, among others, project management, leadership qualities and personal development.
Other distinguished partners represented at the summit include: Simmons & Simmons, Bank of England, Teach First, Deutsche Bank and Microsoft.
