Congratulations on your nomination for the Professional of the Year Award! How do you feel about it?

It is an absolute honour and privilege to be recognised in any capacity at all let alone by such an established body. I am very grateful!

Tell us a little about yourself and what you do

The summarised version is that I am a Businessman, Record Producer, Founder and CEO of Qirv Ltd – a company that engages in the development and investment of various ventures across a wide span of industries.

Why would you say you deserve to win?

As far as “deserving to win” I would say anybody who works hard and is persistent and consistent at achieving their goals deserves to be recognised and probably, will be at the right time by the right people. If my time has come to be awarded by GUBA, I will accept that as I will if it is someone else’s time. The main objective is that hard working Ghanaians are being recognised and are motivated to continue inspiring the next generation.

What motivates you and your work?

My main motivation is purpose, I believe we all have specific purposes that we are expected to fulfil while we have life.  My view is that those purposes are attached to our passions. Music, Business and Teaching are my absolute passions. When these passions die, I die.

What are your thoughts on the GUBA Awards?

I remember thinking, “this is a great idea, and I hope it is here to stay” when the first GUBA Awards was held. We are very proud of what GUBA Awards have achieved over the years and where it is clearly heading, it has grown from strength to strength!

Are you involved in any other projects?

I was recently appointed as the International liaison for the new Guest Farm Resort in Nsawam, Ghana, a private relaxation resort that also incorporates a safari style setup over a span of acres with chalets.
