GUBA Foundation Autism Event

The GUBA Foundation will be holding an event at the Bernie Grant Arts Centre

on Saturday the 27th of April 2013, 2 to 6pm. The aim of the event will be to bring together families living with autism, create a support system and to open a platform for families to learn and educate each other.

The GUBA Foundation is an organisation that has been setup to help raise awareness about Autism in the African community. The foundation’s main aims are to educate, support and provide services that will improve the lives of Autistic families.

Autism still faces a lot of stigma within the African community. Through the foundation, GUBA hopes to help enrich the lives of families living with autism by offering advice and educating the public on autism related issues.

This event will be an educational and significant event for all those living with or interested in knowing about autism. It is open to all and will be running from 2 to 6pm.

To get more of an insight about autism, the GUBA foundation has put together a short advert which can be viewed here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XBF-itIxApw

Please come and join us as we help to enrich the lives of families with autism and to help make life a little easier for these families. Thank you
