Following our opening day loss to the USA It’s Now or never for Ghana! So this Saturday 21 June 2014 from 4pm join us in the heart of Europe’s fastest growing tech city at the Old Street Station Terrace, Shoreditch, London, EC1V 9NR (on top of the Old Street Tube Station – literally on top of it!) as we launch Me Firi Ghana House by screening the Ghana v Germany World Cup game as well as the Argentina v Iran and Nigeria v Bosnia-Herzegovina matches.

Come and have a unique experience whilst we bring you a big screen, food and drink from beginning to end and we’ll be retailing Me FiRi Ghana Products for both men and women on site too.

The World Cup Toolkit…

On Monday 16 June 2014,the day of Ghana’s opening match of the World Cup 2014 against the USA. Me Firi Ghana launched a World cup toolkit consisting of a selection of exclusive interactive images (created by Me Firi Ghana’s Creative Director Samuel Mensah). The toolkit allows fans/viewers to truly engage with campaign by using exclusive images in real time that represent key incidents during the game. The toolkit can be downloaded here.

The campaign so far…. 

Tuesday 10 June 2014 was the day Award winning London based company Me FiRi Ghana – officially launched their global social media supporters’ campaign using the unique hash tag – #LetsGoalGhana.  The initial press release which contains further information on the launch, purpose and execution of the campaign can be found here.

Since the launch 7 days ago there has been 7.9K Mentions (usage of the hash tag within tweets) on social media. The campaign has received a sentiment score of 83/100 which indicates the context surrounding the hash tag has mainly been positive. Newaudiences in the UK, US, Ghana and Canada have been engaged and inspired to get involved in a global conversation. The indicators are the campaign will grow even further.

The campaign has also received public endorsements from Ghanaian International players; Asamoah Gyan, Kevin Prince Boateng and Samuel Inkoom, US based Ghanaian comedian Michael Blackson and the British High Commissioner to Ghana Jon Benjamin.
