A Sacrifice of Praise

photo (8)Ruth Appiagyei is an inspirational woman with a passion and dedication to Christ. Ruth had the desire to introduce and create a platform for all to share in her love for praise and worship. Following this, she set up Sacrifice of Praise which was an explosive night of worship, praise and a gathering of believers.

This year, Sacrifice of Praise 2 has been launched and will be taking place on Saturday the 18th of July at the Trinity Baptist Church, from 5pm. Confirmed ministers on the night include, Blessing Vani South African gospel artist ZaZa, Chosen Generation Choir, Shabach, NCC and Trinity Baptist Church Choir. It will be a celebration of gratitude for the wonderful blessings from God.

Ruth Appiagyei tells us what to expect at the Sacrifice of Praise 2….

Tell us about the Sacrifice of Praise concert?

The Sacrifice of Praise concert is about uniting different cultures with the purpose of giving God the glory, praise and worship that he deserves. We are the sacrifice given to God almighty and when we offer ourselves he consumes us and fills us with his glory. I believe that we are created to praise our maker

What can people expect at the event?

Those who come with an expectant heart will experience God’s presence. There will be ministrations from various choirs and gospel artists and it will be a holy moment. You will not leave the same and I believe God will speak and touch lives.

What do you think about the GUBA Awards?

GUBA awards is fantastic! It is good to see Ghanaians supporting their own. GUBA honours and raises awareness of great talents in our community.  GUBA has also helped to raise the platform for Ghanaians internationally, and that has gained us respect. We are proud of the work Dentaa has done, she will go far.

What other projects are you involved in that you would like to share?

I volunteer at an orphanage known as Hope Centre in Ghana, where I offer my support once every year. I am also a qualified Social worker and have worked with the Princes Trust and supported many young people. I enjoy working with people and making a difference.

One thing I would like to share is that, your life is in God’s hands. You have been made unique and special. I would urge you all to follow your dreams and don’t let anything or anyone stop you. Fight for it and you will succeed!

GUBA urges you all to attend and share in the praises and gratitude for God. This will be an awesome night of peace and love for all. So head over to the Trinity Baptist Church on the 18th of July 2015.
