The Top 30 U30 Digital Future of Ghana Publication was released on 8 March 2015 to frenzy of excitement and anticipation on social media. It can be viewed here and showcases the top 30 under 30 emerging Ghanaian talent from around the world.
The full edition launches 27th March and in addition to showcasing the Top 30, will also feature forward thinking articles, poetry and interviews highlighting key industries, innovators and organizations vision for Ghana and Africa.

In celebration of the publication the Future of Ghana team have organised an official launch and networking event to be hosted by the charismatic Claire Clottey at the Ghana High Commission, 104 Highgate Hill, London N6 5HE from 1800-22:00. It promises to be a an engaging and inspiring evening with an exclusive photo presentation from the legendary James Barnor, Ghana’s first photo journalist who captured Ghana’s rise to independence from the Gold Coast. Attendees will also hear a key note address from Ghana High Commissioner to the UK H.E Victor Emmanuel Smith , presentations from the Future of Ghana team, networking, and canapés courtesy of 805 Restaurants plus much more.
What, when and why the Future of Ghana…
“In less than 3 generations 41% of the world’s youth will be African”, “By 2035, Africa’s labour force will be larger than China’s” (Mo Ibrahim Foundation)…
We believe now is time to celebrate, mobilize and invest in young people of Ghanaian heritage at a critical time in Africa’s growth.
Thus award winning London based company Me FiRi Ghana embarked on a global mission to find the pioneers and innovators of the Future by launching the Future of Ghana campaign in November 2014. The main objective of the campaign is to organize and mobilize Ghanaian talent for the development of Ghana by undertaking a global search for the top 30 Ghanaian talent aged 18 – 30 years – impacting industries around the world.
The nomination process began on November 1st and closed on December 30th 2014. The top 30 pioneers were independently selected by the 2015 Future of Ghana judging panel (Dentaa Amoateng, Andy Ansah, Charlene Nyantekyi, Alex Boateng & Ameyaw Debrah). The selection was based on content provided by nominators and the guiding nomination criteria made public at the start of the campaign.
The campaign has been endorsed by Ghanaian High Commissioner to the UK H.E Victor Emmanuel Smith who said “It is heart warming to realise that young people of Ghanaian heritage are mobilizing themselves to contribute to the development efforts of their motherland, Ghana“
Future of Ghana Patron and pioneering photographer James Barnor says of the initiative;

It is refreshing to see young Ghanaians in the Diaspora so forward thinking and genuinely passionate about our nation’s future.
